Internal project management tool for INVAROO: clients, projects with phases, tasks on a kanban board, comments and files in one place.

Problem

Off-the-shelf PM tools only mapped the processes with workarounds: plenty of features nobody needs — and the crucial ones missing. Plus a monthly fee per user.

Solution

A custom web app built with Next.js and Supabase: client projects with phases, drag-and-drop tasks on a kanban board, comments, file storage and tiered permissions. Runs entirely in Docker.

Result

The team works in one system instead of spreadsheets, chats and notes. Status and responsibilities are visible at any time — with no rented server and no recurring licence costs.

A full inbox costs time every day: reading, sorting, pulling out to-dos — and something still slips through.

Solution

About me

More than ten years in industry: machining, welding, production management, assembly planning in steel construction. Since 2024 I've been building automations as a freelancer — bringing something you don't learn from tutorials: I know how processes work in real companies, where they jam, and what a solution has to withstand in daily use.

I recharge with CrossFit and boxing.
